Newsletter 06/2017

Dear classic car friends,

The 90th edition of the Mille Miglia was again a very successful event, especially for the teams that we supported. For some of them, it was their very first participation, and they were absolutely delighted.
We also feel very proud when we manage to bring an ex-Mille Miglia car back to its natural habitat after decades of absence.
Take for example this magnificent Parisotto: 65 years after its first run, we expertly restored and prepared this rare little gem built on a Fiat Topolino basis.

At Marreyt Classics & Twin Cam, we don't like to rest on our laurels. The 2017 edition is barely behind us, and we're already looking forward to next year's edition.
For those who would also want to drive "la corsa pių bella del mondo", we have exactly what you need in our stock!
Lancia Aprilia Volpini Barchetta - 1937
This is the real deal: a pre-war Aprilia + an in-period uprated 1700cc engine tuned by Volpini + a very original barchetta coachbuilt by Tenconi + awe-inspiring racing history + guaranteed Mille Miglia participation... what more can you possibly ask for?
Fiat 750 Giannini Barchetta - 1948
This barchetta, constructed and raced by Domenico Ogna, has no less than four Mille Miglia participations on its palmares. If you have difficulties imagining what it could look like, just admire the Parisotto and start dreaming! Guaranteed Mille Miglia participation is only a restoration away.
Bandini Maserati - 1953
Everything about this car is impressive: its looks, its performance, but above all: its sound! Absolutely breath-taking to hear this car growl loudly! The Bandini club has guaranteed us that this car is more than welcome at a next edition of the Mille Miglia.
Stanguellini 1100 Sport - 1951
Belgian racing history (Liège-Rome-Ličge, Tour de Belgique) combined with some recent Italian racing history (2005 Gran Premio Nuvolari, 2007 Mille Miglia). A very reliable high-performance barchetta that can't wait to drive it's next Mille Miglia with you at the steering wheel!
Siata 500 Record - 1946
A one-off Siata built in an attempt to break the 500cc class land speed record, using an intelligently upgraded Topolino basis. Engine fitted with a Siata Supertesta cylinder head, elegant alloy coachwork crafted by Motto. Drove the 1946 Coppa del Mare and the 1947 Autosciatoria di Bosco Chiesanuova. On the button, producing a very sporty sound, and an excellent candidate for the Mille Miglia's "Special List".
