Dear classic car friends,

Over the eight years of its existence, the Zoute Grand Prix has grown to become the major car event in Belgium. Despite some typical Belgian weather, this year's edition was yet again a great success! It was a pleasure for our team to take part in the Balade, to support our clients who participated in the Rally, and to present two cars at the Zoute Concours d'Elégance.

On Friday morning, Bernard Marreyt and Luc Swerts took off for what would turn out to be a worry-free Balade for our 1955 Lancia Aurelia B55 coachbuilt by Beutler - a stylish four-seater convertible that attracted quite some admiring looks from the crowds that gathered at Knokke-Zoute for this automotive weekend.

While our support team had no work whatsoever on the Beutler, their presence was greatly appreciated by our clients! Thanks to the efficient intervention of our skilled mechanics, the punctured tyre on this Bugatti Type 57 Stelvio was soon replaced, allowing driver and co-pilot to dive back into the countryside roads.
After two full days of driving and helping out clients, it was time to swap the wet rally clothes for a tuxedo!
The cherry on the cake came on Sunday: with over seventy cars on show, and some very strong competition, our 1948 Lancia Aprilia "Woody" coachbuilt by Francis Lombardi won the prize for "Most Special & Unique Bodywork" at the Zoute Concours d'Elégance.
If you're looking for a reliable car to drive the next edition of the Zoute Grand Prix, this ex-Mille Miglia Marino Spider is now for sale, after several successful participations at the Zoute Rally and the Mille Miglia. Contact us for more information, or keep an eye on our website!

See you all at InterClassics Brussels, on 17-19 November - Hall 3, stand 45!
